Nicole Wanjiru Waweru is currently a student at Daystar University pursuing her Degree in Print Media and Public Relations. She is a features writer for the university’s newspaper, ‘Involvement Newspaper’.

She started her writing journey after high school in 2018 and knew that she wanted to pursue writing as a career. She runs a blog called The Safe Space on WordPress, where she writes opinion articles and book reviews.

Nicole wrote as a contributor for her High School Annual Magazine, and then as an alumni. In 2021, Daily Nation published her data story and one feature story.
