Wilson Mwambogha is a young Kenyan and aspiring fiction writer who has been writing since he could remember. He desires to see African stories go beyond the continent and make people acknowledge the rich literature contained in the motherland.

He was the overall winner of the 2020 Sondeka Awards for the Short Story category. He was also longlisted for the 2021 Ibua Short Story Prize for his Afro-futuristic story ‘The White Light.’  Besides, writing, he is a nutritionist and dietician. He is also an avid swimmer and a deep lover of music.
