A publisher, editor and author, Verah Omwocha has written for a vast audience.

Some of her titles include Diary of the Miaha (a Memoir), Wendo Tours Nairobi (A children’s storybook), The Craft of Creative Writing (co-authored), among a couple of other books. She has also contributed a number of short stories to different platforms, both online and in books, as well as a number of articles and book reviews in the local dailies. In 2018, she won the Tito Livio Award for Historical Fiction for her short story, The Crescent Moon.

Verah considers herself a certified reader. She is also a Master's student of Literature.
